Departure: HA NOI

Sleeping Conditions::: Sleeper bus with 34 seats

The journey starts at 20 Pham Hung - My Đinh Bus Station.

For customers coming from other locations, To Ong will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport, Hanoi. Please book a flight that arrives at the airport before 10:00 PM.

To Ong will send the pickup details and specific timing via email three days before departure time (if there are any changes).

A shuttle bus will take you to the sleeper bus for the trip to Ta Leng, Lai Chau.

Day 1: TA LENG, LAI CHÂU

5:30 AM Arrive in Ta Leng. Personal hygiene, breakfast, and gear preparation.

7:30 AM Motorbike taxis will transport the group to the mountain base (a 10 km ride).

8:00 AM The group reaches the base and begins the trekking journey to conquer Ta Lien Son (also known as Co Trau Peak). The guide will explain safety rules and lead a warm-up before starting the trek to Ta Lien Son – the 6th highest mountain in Vietnam.

11:30 AM The group reaches the lunch spot along the way.

1:00 PM Continue trekking. The afternoon trail is mostly uphill, passing through ancient forests, maple groves, bamboo forests, and rhododendron-filled landscapes.

5:00 PM The group arrives at the campsite at an elevation of 2,500 meters. Upon arrival, members can freshen up and rest.

6:00 PM Dinner and cultural exchange with the local H’Mong and Dao people.

Day 2: TA LIEN SON SUMMIT - TA LENG VILLAGE - SAPA

Highlights::: Reach the 6th highest peak in Vietnam, enjoy Sturgeon hotpot, and relax in a Dao Red herbal bath

5:30 AM The group wakes up, freshens up, enjoys the sunrise, and has breakfast.

6:30 AM Start the final ascent to the summit, enjoying the sea of clouds along the way.

10:00 AM Reach the summit. Capture the moment of successfully conquering the 6th highest mountain in Vietnam.

11:30 AM Begin the descent, returning to the campsite to pack up and head back to the base via the same route.

2:00 PM Arrive at the base, board motorbike taxis to the vehicle pick-up point, and transfer to Sapa by car.

6:00 PM Arrive in Sapa, where the group experiences the Hot bath in Sapa, a precious local remedy from the Northwest that helps relieve joint pain and improve health.

7:00 PM Head to a local restaurant to enjoy the regional specialty – Sturgeon hotpot. Sip on wine, savor fresh fish, and share stories of the journey.

8:30 PM Visit Sapa's night market to admire the unique products and purchase souvenirs.

10:30 PM Depart by bus back to Hanoi, bidding farewell to the "city in the mist" – Sapa. Expected arrival in Hanoi is 5:00 AM the next morning, concluding the adventure to conquer Ta Lien Son.

For the Ta Lien Son trekking tour, each To Ong Adventure group consists of 16 members, with a support ratio of 1:2. This means that for every 16 participants, there will be at least 8 support staff from To Ong Adventure.

What are the restroom and hygiene facilities like during the trek?

At each camping site, To Ong Adventure arranges temporary restroom facilities for the group. Our logistics team ensures that the area is properly cleaned after departure. Additionally, we follow responsible waste management practices by separating organic and inorganic waste throughout the journey.

What are the health requirements for joining the trek?

Each trekking route has different difficulty levels and specific health requirements. Ta Lien Son is classified as a trekking-level route by To Ong Adventure. To participate in this trek, you should have prior experience with walking and hiking routes and maintain a regular fitness routine.

For those traveling from Southern Vietnam who are trekking in the Northwest region for the first time, it is recommended to arrive one day in advance to acclimate to the climate of Lai Chau before starting the journey.

Can I join the Ta Lien Son trekking tour if I am traveling alone?

Yes! Even if you are traveling alone, you can still join To Ong Adventure's trekking routes. We organize group tours with a maximum of 16 members every weekend, allowing you to connect with new friends and enjoy an exciting journey together.
