Wildflower Colors on the Bach Moc Luong Tu Trekking Route

Nature feels fresh and full of life, with wild peach blossoms, bauhinia flowers, and plum blossoms all showing off their colors.

Rhododendrons calling summer
Passing through dense-leaf forests and rocky cliffs, you may see bright rhododendron trees on both sides of the trail. The rhododendrons on this mountain are hundreds of years old. At around 2,000m, ancient rhododendron trees appear and disappear in the mist. Rhododendrons are not only red; there are more than 30 types in many colors, including white, yellow, pink, red, and purple.
Nameless wildflowers
Along the Bach Moc Luong Tu trekking route, hidden among the bushes, there are also nameless wildflowers. Many are not only beautiful but also fragrant, helping trekkers relax after a long section of trail. Their colors mingle with green leaves to create a richly layered picture in the raw mountain landscape.
When you trek Bach Moc Luong Tu to around 2,500m above sea level, you will encounter clumps of Hoang Lien O Ro, with eye-catching green and yellow tones. The flowers grow in clusters at the tips of the branches, shorter than the leaves, and are mainly yellow. This is also a medicinal plant that can be used in remedies.
Deep green vegetation
The dominant color throughout the journey to Bach Moc Luong Tu remains the deep green of the mountains, forests, and grasses. Some sections pass through ancient primary forest with large, straight trunks. Other areas are thick with green moss covering rocks and old trees shaped by time. Then come steep rocky sections interwoven with untouched bamboo forest.
Old yellow-green tones appear on trunks, branches, roots, and ancient trees rising proudly from the forest floor.
The peak is surrounded by wonderful scenes like these. Within the raw grandeur of the mountains is the softness of flowers. As the air grows colder with elevation, nature brings surprise after surprise. Flower colors appear and disappear in the mist.
