Bu Gia Map Tour: 2 Days 1 Night Away from Technology and Back to Nature

Về với thiên nhiên Bù Gia Mập

Technology brings convenience to modern life, but it can also make people living in fast-paced cities forget the feeling of true relaxation in pure nature. Exploring Bu Gia Map National Park is a wonderful way to step away from technology and the internet and return to the mountains and forest. It is an experience of forest trails, stream crossings, self-challenge, and many memorable discoveries.

LOCATION OF BU GIA MAP NATIONAL PARK

Bu Gia Map National Park is located in Phu Nghia commune, Bu Gia Map district, Binh Phuoc Province. It is one of the region’s major biosphere conservation areas and a green lung of Southeast Vietnam. It borders Cambodia to the northwest and Dak Nong Province to the east, and is about 210km from Ho Chi Minh City.

THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF BU GIA MAP

Bu Gia Map has all the beauty of an unspoiled forest. It is a harmonious mix of green woodland, clear streams, and gently falling waterfalls. The more you explore, the more fascinating and unfamiliar details you will discover.

Soft, Graceful Waterfalls

Passing through the vast forests of Bu Gia Map, you come across clear, gentle waterfalls. Dak Mai Waterfall has a 50m-high drop, beautiful flow, a wide rock surface, and a large pool below. Luu Ly Waterfall is softer, at 3m high with two tiers, making it suitable for stopping, wandering, and soaking in the water. The water falls from above and releases white foam like a thin mist. In the rainy season, it can look like silk draped across part of the forested mountains.

Around the waterfalls is often a rich ecosystem. Large pebbles shaped by time, colorful wildflowers, and quiet tree trunks create a living natural setting. You can clearly feel the fresh air, listen to the sounds of nature, and let calmness take over your mind.

A Mysterious Green Forest

The forest of Bu Gia Map itself is the main scenery of the journey. Towering ancient trees, interwoven canopies that allow just enough sunlight through, roots gripping the soil, and rocks covered in green lichen create a scene that feels both primeval and mysterious. The deeper you go, the more clearly you sense its magical atmosphere.

With low mountain terrain, the trails here have moderate slopes and are fairly easy to walk. Bu Gia Map National Park is home to more than 1,000 species of plants and animals in many forms and colors. It is also one of the few places that still preserves the characteristics of primary forest, with many valuable tree species such as rosewood, redwood, and giang huong.

Soaking by the Stream

You may be surprised by the cool streams, made crystal clear through layers of forest, stones, and gravel. Streams in Bu Gia Map have a distinctive jade-green color. The clear water reflects ancient tree trunks hundreds of years old. Soak in the stream and feel nature cooling your soul after busy days. Listen to water running over rounded stones, a peaceful sound that can be deeply soothing.
