K50 Waterfall: A Forest Wellness Spa Experience
For the first time on the K50 Waterfall hiking route, To Ong introduces a forest wellness spa model designed to bring travelers a fresh way to relax and reset.
About K50 Waterfall
K50 is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. It has a pure, untouched charm: powerful and majestic, yet still graceful. The waterfall lies inside Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve in K’Bang District, Gia Lai Province, and also stretches across the natural boundary between Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces.

With a height of 50 meters and a curtain of white water as stunning as any waterfall, K50 is often called the “muse of the great forest.” It is also known as Hang En Waterfall because behind the cascade is a large rock cave where forest swallows once nested.
A Wellness Spa Model in the Forest
This added experience makes the K50 Waterfall tour even more memorable. To Ong has created a small wellness setup with sturdy, rustic wooden foot-soak tubs that retain heat well and are environmentally friendly. The main ingredients in the soak are herbs that help soothe your feet after a long day of crossing forests and streams.

Your feet carry the pressure of your whole body, especially after hours of hiking. Warming the feet, where traditional medicine recognizes many acupressure points, can be especially comforting. A herbal foot soak is a simple, practical form of care in mountain and forest hiking conditions.
The herbal aroma brings a refreshing, calming feeling beside the stream and close to nature.

Benefits of Herbal Foot Soaking
According to traditional medicine and other studies, acupressure points on the soles of the feet are connected to the whole body. A herbal foot soak not only relaxes your feet after an adventure, but may also support other wellness benefits.
- Helps dilate blood vessels in the feet, supporting blood circulation and reducing fatigue
- May support relief from headaches and insomnia
- Helps care for foot skin, reduce foot odor, and support certain skin concerns
- Helps ease joint aches and muscle stiffness
- Stimulates the nervous system and may help the mind feel clearer

If you try this herbal wellness foot soak for the first time and enjoy it, you can continue the habit at home after your K50 Waterfall hike.
A Chill Wellness View in Nature
For those who love simple, rustic moments, To Ong’s herbal foot soak setup offers time close to nature with a beautiful view. In front of you is a poetic lake surface reflecting the forest. Here, you can also try stand-up paddleboarding through the old forest before the foot soak, or simply soak your feet while taking in the scenery, chatting with fellow travelers, and listening to mountain stories.

The foot-soaking activity takes place after setting up camp on the first day. After a day of trekking through the forest, we relax, ease fatigue, and recharge for the next day. Sitting calmly in the great forest, enjoying a comfortable wellness spa moment, and breathing fresh air helps the body and mind feel more connected to nature.

K50 Waterfall Hiking Tour
On the K50 Waterfall hiking journey, travelers cover a long route through narrow forest paths under a canopy of green, crossing streams and rocky sections before finally seeing K50 Waterfall up close and feeling the fresh spray in a magnificent natural setting.
